Music, fun and games in store at Attleborough carnival

The market town of Attleborough is gearing up for a weekend of fun.

A Party on the Park event featuring tribute acts Only One Direction and Mini Mixx will take place at the town's recreation ground tomorrow from 2pm.

Sunday is carnival fun day, which kicks off with a parade through the town at 12.30pm and continues with motorbike demonstrations, falconry, rides, games, stalls and live music at the recreation ground.

There will also be craft, trade and charity stalls as well as a licensed bar.

Another highlight will be a display by Savage Skills, the UK's leading freestyle mountain bike stunt team.

A competition to choose the carnival prince and princess takes place on Saturday from 4pm and is open to children aged from six to 11.
