Mid Norfolk MP George Freeman has greeted residents at a Wymondham care home as part of a series of visits.

Mr Freeman was at Robert Kett Court in Wymondham, where he also met staff and had a look around the home, along with Wymondham mayor, Joe Mooney.

Mr Freeman said: 'As part of my series of regular visits to mid-Norfolk care homes to meet those on the front line of providing social care, last week I visited Robert Kett Court in Wymondham with local councillor Joe Mooney.

'We met staff, the manager and residents and looked around all parts of the home, with its well-trained and engaged staff looking after their residents with real care, sensitivity and pride. With an ageing population we need to be developing policies in Government to ensure we can provide high quality care for all, and I'm determined in my new role for the Prime Minister to make sure best practice here in Norfolk is properly recognised.'
