Norwich South MP Simon Wright backed the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile in Norwich after completing the MP-only running of the race in Westminster.
Mr Wright is encouraging people to sign up to the Norwich event, which takes place on March 25.
Speaking after the Westminster Mile, Mr Wright said: 'It's not too late to take part. You can take the mile at your own pace, and it's suitable for all ages and all abilities. Even MPs can do it!
'I'm really looking forward to the Norwich Mile. I took part when it was last held two years ago, and everyone seemed to have a great time while supporting good causes.'
