Motorists have been warned to expect traffic delays in parts of Dereham from next week because of a series of roadworks affecting some of the town's busiest thoroughfares.

From Monday, kerb repairs will start in London Road and Station Road. There will be temporary traffic lights, and the work should take five days to complete.

Next Sunday, August 12, resurfacing of the Station Road/London Road mini-roundabout will start; and work in London Road itself will go ahead from next Monday, August 13.

The roads will be closed and diversions put in place while the job, which is expected to last between three and five days, is being done.

From Sunday, August 19, workmen will resurface the Commercial Road/London Road mini-roundabout in Dereham, and the road will be closed.

The one-way restriction between the Cowper Road/Norwich Street junction and the car park will be suspended while work is being done. Traffic will be controlled at the junction and the car park entrance by stop-and-go boards.
