Motorists are being warned they could experience some disruption while repairs and resurfacing work take place on the A143 Scole Road.
Temporary traffic signals and a 10mph speed limit will be in place during the three week roadworks, which are due to start on June 25.
The roadworks will start 50 metres from the junction with Low Road and continue 2,000m to a point adjacent to Hall Farm.
Access to properties and businesses will be maintained while the works take place.
