Motorists faced delays after the Bascule Bridge in Lowestoft became stuck open.
The problem this morning led to some motorists turning around at the scene as they tried to find alternative routes.
There were queues on both sides of the bridge with people being diverted through Oulton Broad.
The situation has now been resolved.
