A 37-year-old Norfolk motorcyclist was killed after his machine was in collision with a vehicle towing a horsebox.

Police said Robert Rowlands, known as Dylan, of Dunkirk, near Aylsham, was riding his orange Triumph motorbike on the B1147 Dereham Road at Swanton Morley, near Dereham, at about 7.05pm on Sunday when the crash happened.

The collision was with a blue Isuzu Trooper. The driver was not injured and there was no horse in the box.

Mr Rowlands was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment but died shortly after arriving as a result of his injuries.
