Motorcyclist ‘critical’ after Carleton Rode crash

A motorcycle rider remains in a critical, but stable condition in hospital following a crash near Attleborough.

Officers from the serious collision investigation team at Norfolk Police are making a fresh appeal for witnesses following the collision, which took place at 5.30pm on Tuesday, May 3 at Carleton Rode.

A blue Kawasaki motorbike was travelling towards New Buckenham on Upgate Street, when, as it approached a line of traffic, it left the road and came to rest in a ditch.

The rider, a local man in his 60s, received serious internal injuries and is receiving treatment at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
