A motorcyclist was stopped by police on the A11 on Monday after they were caught travelling at speeds reaching 130mph.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Team (SCIT) stopped the rider of a Suzuki GSXR-750 as they were travelling on the A11 towards Norwich doing nearly double the speed limit of 70mph.
The motorcyclist was reported for consideration to be prosecuted for driving at excessive speed.
PC Shane Schucroft, Investigator for the SCIT, said: 'I would like to take this opportunity to remind motorists that speed limits are in place for a reason.
'Riding at such speeds dramatically reduces your chance of reacting to riding conditions and could put lives at risk.'
