Bungay Black Dog Running Club hosted its Groggy Doggy Run on Boxing Day, which was taking place for the eighth year in a row.

Wet weather made sure that conditions at Outney Common, Bungay, were slightly on the boggy side, but the event was still well received by club members and participants.

As has become part of the tradition, an animal food collection was also held, with tins and packages gathered up and donated to the PACT Animal Sanctuary. Bungay Black Dog Running Club captain, Tom Pullinger, who was accompanied by his dog Dexter, said: 'It was a lovely run with lots of friends and family.'
