Money and jewellery stolen in Lowestoft house burglary

Burglars stole £500 in cash and items of costume jewellery after breaking into a home in Long Road, Lowestoft.

The cash and jewellery, which included 18 pairs of earrings, were stolen between 5pm last Thursday, December 5 and 10am on Friday, December 6 after someone broke into the property via a ground floor window.

The home backs onto land near Tom Crisp Way – and police are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious in the area between these times to call Det Con John Beales at Lowestoft CID on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
