Mobile phone and cash stolen after man is attacked and robbed in Lowestoft

A 21-year-old man suffered bruising to his face after he was attacked and robbed in Lowestoft.

The 21-year-old was walking along Flensburgh Street between 1am and 2am yesterday (Sunday) when he was struck to the back of the head and fell to the ground.

He was then assaulted by a man who demanded his valuables and the 21-year-old handed over his mobile phone and a quantity of cash. The attacker – described as white, in his early to mid 20s, around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with blond hair and wearing a T-shirt and jeans - then fled towards Denmark Road.
