A missing 48-year-old woman from Lowestoft has been found 'safe and well'.
Nikita Powley was reported missing after being last seen at her home address in Crown Street, Lowestoft between 12.30pm and 1.30pm yesterday (Friday, August 26).
Police launched an appeal to help trace the missing woman, and the RNLI Lowestoft Lifeboat, 'Patsy Knight,' was launched earlier this morning (Saturday), while HM Lowestoft and Southwold Coastguard rescue officers were also called out to assist police in the search.
This afternoon (Saturday) a police spokesman said: 'Nikita Powley, who was reported missing from Lowestoft, has been found safe and well. Officers would like to thank the media and members of the public for their assistance with this appeal.'
