A Norfolk woman who went missing from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn has been found dead in a concrete culvert.Police launched an appeal to help find Carol Strudwick, 60, of Feltwell after she left the hospital on Friday morning.

Police launched an appeal to help find Carol Strudwick, 60, of Feltwell after she left the hospital on Friday morning.
Officers carried out a series of searches in the area, but a police spokesman said her body was discovered by a member of her family in the roadside culvert, between the Hardwick Road roundabout and the hospital just after 3pm on Saturday.
The spokesman said: “At the present time her death is not being treated as suspicious, the coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination will be carried out on Monday to establish the cause of death.”
At the time of her disappearance, Mrs Strudwick who is not from the King's Lynn area, was bare foot and had stitches in her neck.
Mrs Strudwick had last been seen at 9.45am on Friday by a member of hospital staff , it was believed she left the grounds on foot.
Police said she was not familiar with the King's Lynn area.
A spokesman for the hospital said today: “As a matter of course we will investigate this type of incident.
“Mrs Strudwick had left the hospital of her own accord without notifying anyone, before a medical assessment had been completed.”
But he added that the woman was not detained at the hospital and people are free to go of their own accord.
