A military plane was spotted flying low over Cromer earlier this week.
The aircraft, a C-130J Hercules, was seen flying over the Norfolk seaside town on Tuesday, October 26.
It was filmed flying just after 11am by Gareth Allison who was visiting the north Norfolk coast.
A Ministry of Defence Spokesperson said: "A 206 Squadron C-130J Hercules from RAF Brize Norton was completing low level essential operational training in the Norfolk area on Tuesday, routine training ensures we are able to complete global operations."
The Hercules is the RAF’s primary tactical transport aircraft and has been the backbone of UK operational tactical mobility tasks since it was brought into service in 1999.
It is frequently employed to operate into countries or regions where there is a threat to aircraft.
The aircraft is highly flexible, with the ability to airdrop a variety of stores and paratroopers, and operate from natural surface landing zones.
Hercules crews are highly skilled in low-level flying.
