Forty Norfolk women have raised 1,100 for Asda's Tickled Pink campaign, which raises money for two breast cancer charities: Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign.

Colleagues and customers of Asda in Norwich teamed up with Mile Cross Primary School staff and other residents to do the sponsored walk around Sloughbottom Park.

Saffron King, 38, from Asda, said she was impressed she was with the success of the walk. She added: 'It was a great day and we also burned some calories!'

The charity was chosen in honour of Mother's Day and the two hour walk raised 400. A raffle and present-wrapping event held in the foyer of Asda the weekend after the walk brought the total raised to 1,100.

The Tickled Pink campaign is entering its 15th year and has so far raised more than 25 million.

Saffron shared her pictures and news about the event on www.iwitness24.co.uk.
