As England prepare for their biggest game in over 20 years, mid and north Norfolk's schools, pubs and shops are enjoying the nation's surprise performance at the World Cup.

Alderman Peel High School in Wells have celebrated England reaching the semi-final by hosting their own red and white themed non uniform day, with students dressed in their favourite England coloured outfits.

Pubs in the region are also gearing up for tonight's game against Croatia, with the Railway Tavern's grandstand in Dereham again expected to play host to hundreds of England fans.

Tickets for the event went on sale on Monday, with queues forming around the outside of the building.

Money from tickets and donations is also being raised for the families of baby boy Jack Smith, who was recently diagnosed with pinal muscular atrophy and three-year-old Denver Clinton who suffers from a rare form of cancer.

Dereham Town Football Club will also be showing the game, which kicks off at 7pm, and will open their bar and kitchen to customers.

One lucky fan from Dereham, Ian Odgers, will be at the game in Russia having flown out for the semi-final and if all goes well, will also be at the final on Sunday.

Pubs and shops across the area have been decorated for the World Cup as fans hope for a first World Cup final since 1966.

Over to you, Gareth Southgate.
