The Mid-Norfolk Railway is set to transport visitors to the 1940s this weekend with a Railway at War event and nostalgic dance.
Taking place across August 5 and 6, the war-time event aims to commemorate and educate guests about the history of the stations along the railway line.
A range of activities and displays will take place at Dereham and Wymondham stations, featuring a number of re-enactment groups, living history displays, period stalls and military vehicles.
On the evening of August 5 there will also be a dance at the Dereham Memorial Hall, with live music from Norfolk's 1940's themed band, Pavilion Big Band. Guests are invited to attend dressed in period costume.
A two-day pass for the Railway at War event will cost £30 or £16 for a single day. Tickets to the dance, which begins at 7pm on Saturday August 5, are £15.
They are available from Dereham station or online.
