Men armed with shotgun and knife rob Beccles jewellers in broad daylight

Four armed men have robbed a Beccles jewellers in broad daylight this afternoon.
Officers were called to Copperfield Jewellers in New Market at around 4pm.
A police spokesman said: 'It is reported that four men entered the business and threatened the owner before stealing a number of items. It is understood that the suspects then fled the scene on foot in the direction of Ballygate.'
It is believed that the robbers had a shotgun and a knife and all four had their faces covered.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
Inquiries are continuing and there is currently a police cordon surrounding the shop.
