A memorial picnic is taking place in Cambridge today for a Norwich backpacker who died trying to climb Vietnam's highest mountain in June.
Aiden Webb, 22, set off alone to climb the Fansipan mountain on June 2, and a week later his body was found after a huge search and rescue operation was launched.
The picnic will take place on Jesus Green in Cambridge from 2 p.m and will include personal tributes and a candlelit vigil.
Earlier this month Aiden's girlfriend, Bluebell Baughan, set up a charity in his memory called Aiden Shaw Webb Ascent (ASWA) - with an ambition of improving the local schools and infrastructure in the area of the Fansipan mountain as a debt of thanks to those who helped search for Aiden.
