It's an RNLI first - four members of the same family on duty together as lifeguards at Sea Palling.
The four blond-haired youngsters at the North Norfolk beauty spot on Friday, August 18 were all members of the Griffin family.
The Mundesley family comprises Laura, 22, George, 21, Emma, 19, and Jack, 16.
Proud mother Caroline Griffin, 52, who used to run the Durdans B&B in Mundesley with husband Andrew, 67, said: 'It's amazing they are all working together as lifeguards on Sea Palling beach.
'They have all been really excited ahead of it.
'Jack did his lifeguard course at Easter, and this is the first time they had the same shift so were on duty together.
'All of them have always loved the water and they used to go down to the beach as kids. The RNLI is a fantastic organisation and it's a great job for them.'
RNLI supervisor for Norfolk Sam Kendrick said: 'Four lifeguards from the same family working at the same time is an RNLI first.'
George, who is in his fifth season as a lifeguard, said the siblings had always been in and out of the water.
'I remember the first lifeguard hut at Mundesley,' he said.
'It's also such a perfect summertime job. You get to chat to people and make a difference.'
He said the brothers and sisters got on incredibly well together.
'It's perfect for us and mum and dad are really excited,' he added.
'We are all blond and look pretty similar. When we tell people we are family everyone loves it.'
Emma, who has done three and a half seasons, said: 'It's really exciting as it's the first year we've all worked together. This is the only beach we can do it as a foursome, as others just have two or three lifeguards.'
Jack added: 'I'm a keen surfer and this is what I wanted to do since I was younger. It's my ideal job.'
Laura said: 'It must be quite unusual for the four of us to be working together. We are all quite close.'
Being a lifeguard is not all fun and games, though. The beach can be a dangerous place and 52-year-old Lesek Puchala died whilst swimming at Sea Palling last July. Two stranded swimmers were also rescued from the sea at Sea Palling in May.
