Dressed immaculately in an RAF uniform and traditional white wedding dress are Hindringham Primary School's very own Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Kieran Morahan, aged seven, and Katelyn East, six, have been selected as the future king of England and his bride-to-be for the school's royal banquet, which is being held tomorrow to toast Friday's royal wedding.

They at a dress rehearsal which the school, near Wells, held yesterday.

Pupils will spend the day dressed as princes and princesses and will enjoy a special royal wedding cake and cupcakes with pictures of the royal wedding couple on them.

Head teacher Sue du Bois said: 'They were picked because Kieran came in with the military uniform on and we felt that Katelyn looks amazingly similar to how we would imagine a younger Kate Middleton would look.

'I just wanted to share with the children what an amazing event this will be. They will learn about the background of the royal family and about marriage and there will be lots of royal wedding-themed activities.'

She added: 'We all wish William and Kate the best of luck and we hope to give the children an interesting insight into what the event is all about.'
