Children in Great Yarmouth will get to play the part of a Ghostbuster at a special Halloween event.

Market Gates Shopping Centre is asking youngsters to take part in a new version of the iconic movie - complete with costumes, props and a special script.

The event, on Thursday, October 24, will allow children to take part in three sessions at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, with the final mini movies being screened on the centre's Facebook page.

Photos of the pint-sized cast will also be posted, giving visitors to chance to like their favourite Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Janine.

'Children love Halloween and we are confident they will enjoy dressing up and role playing a scene from the Ghostbusters movie,' said Dee Greenwood, Deputy Manager of the Market Gates Shopping Centre.

'Marlon Gator will also be making an appearance and we are hoping that he will not be spooked by the ghostly antics!'

Parents will need to stay with their children during the sessions.
