A man armed with a knife and a hammer was arrested in a residential road after confronting a group of people.
Police took the 32-year-old into custody after the incident, which happened in Beresford Road, Lowestoft on Friday, June 2 at around 9.30pm.
A Suffolk police spokesman said the man, from the Lowestoft area, was arrested on suspicion of affray.
He said: 'He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre where he was interviewed and released under investigation.'
