Man taken to hospital after assault in Norwich

A man was taken to hospital following an assault in Norwich.

Police were called to the scene at Orford Place just after 7pm tonight.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said one man was believed to have assaulted another man, and that officers were investigating the incident.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said a 45-year-old man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
