A man suffered a serious head wound, cuts to his nose and lips and broken teeth after he was attacked with glass bottles in a Dereham park.
Police said the victim, a man in his late 20s, was assaulted with 'several glass bottles' while he was sitting with a group of men near the skateboard park at the recreation ground on Station Road.
He was treated for his injuries, and required stitches to his head.
A police spokesman said the man was part of a larger group of people who were drinking on the recreation ground when the attack happened, between 8pm and 8.45pm on Tuesday June 24.
Anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any information regarding it, should contact Det Con Mark Barron at Thetford CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
