Man suffers head and ear injuries following a fight in Stalham

A 25-year-old man has been punched in the head and suffered an injury to his ear after a fight broke out in Stalham.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the disturbance which took place on High Street, near the Grebe public house, on Sunday, June 24.

The incident happened between 11.30pm and 11.55pm following the England vs Italy Euro 2012 football match.

Officers were called to the scene following reports of a disturbance involving a number of people.

The 25-year-old man's injuries required hospital treatment.
