A 25-year-old man remains in hospital after being found with two stab wounds to his abdomen.
The injured man, from Lithuania, was found at the junction of York Way and Canterbury Way in Thetford at about 10pm on New Year's Eve.
He was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
A police spokesman today (Wednesday) said that he was currently in a stable condition. He added that no arrests had been made.
