POLICE are seeking witnesses after a 23-year-old man was spat at in an incident in a Lowestoft car park.

Trouble flared in the Clifton Road car park about 1.35pm yesterday (Tuesday, January 8).

The 23-year-old was cycling from the town centre and became aware of a teenage boy cycling in front of him on the Belvedere Road car park. As they got to where this car park meets the Clifton Road car park the teenager stopped and tried to encourage the 23-year-old to fight him.

The offender is described as white, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall, of small to medium build with short shaven light coloured hair, and was wearing a baseball cap, dark coloured hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.
