A man is critically ill in hospital following a single car crash.
Police, fire crews and the ambulance service were called to Castleton Way, Eye, at 12.21am today.
Firefighters helped rescue a man trapped who was trapped inside his red Rover.
A police spokesman said the incident was involving one car which had a single occupant inside.
He said: 'The man injured in the crash was taken to hospital. He is in a critical condition with life threatening injuries. He suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Ipswich Hospital.'
Anyone who can help police with their investigations is asked to call Suffolk police's Serious Collision Investigation Team at police headquarters on 101.
