A man has been taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' following a crash near Reepham this evening.

Firefighters helped release the casualty from one of two vans involved in the crash which happened on Heydon Road, Heydon at about 5pm.

A spokesman in the Norfolk police control room said he had been taken to hospital with 'serious injuries' following the crash which was also attended by the ambulance service and fire crews from Aylsham and Holt.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has any information about it should call 101.

Meanwhile the spokesman said police also attended a single vehicle crash on the A140 at Erpingham at about 6.30pm.

One person received minor injuries as a result of the crash which was also attended by fire crews from Cromer and Sheringham.

Crews made the vehicle safe.
