A 30-year-old man suffered a broken hip during an assault by five men at a Diss pub on Christmas Eve.
Detectives are appealing for information following the altercation that took place at about 11.55pm on Friday in the Greyhound pub.
Officers understand that the victim was involved in an argument with a man and a woman at the pub in St Nicholas Street, Diss, when he was assaulted by the man and four other men.
The injured man was taken to hospital with a broken hip.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the pub at the time, in particular three people who helped the victim immediately after the incident.
