A man was assaulted and had his money and mobile phone stolen after a robber struck up a conversation with him in the street.
The 30-year-old victim was walking home in Gorleston when he was approached by a white stocky man between 23 and 26 years old. The pair chatted and parted company, before the robber returned to threaten, assault and make off with the victim's cash and Samsung mobile phone. The incident occurred on Sunday December 4 near Burnt Lane. Witnesses should contact the police on 101.
