Emergency services were called to reports of a man in the river at Wroxham today.
A fire crew from Wroxham, a specialist water rescue team from Sprowston and the fire rescue boat from Carrow were called to the rescue off Staitheway Road at just before 7.40am.
The man was rescued from the water before the brigades arrival.
Crews assisted the ambulance.
