A MAN on a mobility scooter was injured after he was verbally abused and had a stone thrown at him by youths in Lowestoft.
Police are seeking witnesses after the man on a mobility scooter was 'verbally abused and had a stone thrown at him,' according to police, in an assault in Lowestoft.
The man, in his 50s, suffered a bruise to his shoulder in the inident in Belvedere Road between 6.30pm and 7.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, February 8). The assault happened as the man passed two male youths – one described as being of mixed race, aged in his mid teens, with short dark curly hair and wearing dark jogging bottoms and a sweatshirt with red bits on it, the other white, of similar age, with short mousy brown hair, around 5ft 10ins tall and wearing a grey tracksuit top.
One of the two boys threw the pebble at the man and it struck him on the shoulder.
