A man aged 25 was left with grazes and a dislocated elbow after he let an unknown female try on a friend's shoes which he was carrying.

She approached him outside Cromer's Morrisons supermarket, on Holt Road, on Sunday August 12, between 12.05am and 12.30am and asked to try on the shoes.

When she refused to give them back, two males approached him and became aggressive.

A police spokesman said: 'From this point the victim can't remember anything and next thing he knew he woke up at his father's address with numerous grazes and a swollen elbow.

'A visit to Norfolk and Norwich hospital revealed he had dislocated his elbow.'

Anyone with information or who saw any suspicious activity should contact PC Adrian Craske at Cromer police station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
