Man ‘knocked to the ground’ in Christmas Eve assault in Lowestoft

Police are seeking witnesses after a 20-year-old man was assaulted in Lowestoft High Street about 11.40pm on Christmas Eve (Tuesday, December 24).

Officers on patrol in the area were approached by the 20-year-old, who reported he had been approached by two men, in the High Street not far from the police station, who knocked him to the ground.

The first attacker is white, in his late teens to early 20s, of thin and short build, with dark spiky hair, while the other man is also described as being of short and thin build, with short cropped hair.
