A man has been taken to hospital after falling from the roof of a pub.
The ambulance service were called just after 1.25pm today (February 11) to reports of a person who had fallen from the scaffold attached to a roof of a public house.
Paramedics arrived to find a male in his 50s had injuries to his head, back and pelvis after falling from the roof of The King's Head in St Johns Road, Belton.
He received medical attention at the scene and was then taken to the James Paget University Hospital for further treatment.
The air ambulance from Norwich was called and landed in a nearby field, but it was not needed.
