Man in stable condition after forklift runs over his foot in The Paddocks, Old Catton

A man was taken to hospital after a forklift truck ran over his foot in Old Catton.

The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) were called about the incident in The Paddocks at 9.59am yesterday (Friday, May 5) and quickly dispatched an ambulance crew to assist.

Medics were on scene within eight minutes of the call to assess the man, believed to be in his 50s, and treat him for a foot injury before taking him to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care.

He is believed to be in a stable condition.
