A man in his 40s was taken to hospital this morning after a fire on Warren's Road in Clenchwarton near King's Lynn.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they were called to the scene at 10.31am and treated one patient for smoke inhalation who was conscious and breathing.

The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn but the spokesman said he did not believe his symptoms were life threatening.

Fire engines from King's Lynn North and King's Lynn South attended the building fire.
