A shopkeeper is in hospital with a suspected broken jaw after being attacked by two hooded robbers at Cromer.Two people in balaclavas, believed to be men, went into the wine shop at Hamilton Road at 10pm last night, and attacked the 52-year-old shopkeeper before stealing cash.

A shopkeeper was beaten unconscious in a raid by two hooded robbers on a Cromer wine shop last night.

The 52-year-old has a suspected broken jaw after the attack by the raiders, both wearing balaclavas, at the off licence in Hamilton Road about 10pm.

Cash was stolen in the robbery, and the shopkeeper, who also suffered extensive facial injuries was treated at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
