A man from Dereham has been handed a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order following thefts from shops in the town.

After two separate thefts from the Co-operative store in Market Place in March 2017, David Wynn, 32, of Norwich Road, Dereham, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and forced to pay £35 in compensation when he appeared at Kings Lynn Magistrates Court on Monday, May 8.

He was also given a Criminal Behaviour Order after being found to have been involved in incidents associated with thefts from shops in the Dereham areas over the past 12 months.

The order states he must not remain inside any shop or commercial premises if asked to leave by staff or enter any premises which he has previously been banned or excluded from. This includes the Co-operative, Market Place, Morrisons, Station Road, Boots, Market Place, Wilkinsons, High Street, and Chattels, Norwich Street.
