A man found dead in his kitchen in King's Lynn last week suffered stab wounds to the heart and chest, an inquest heard.
Polish-born Krzysztof Gerot was found at his home on Browning Place on December 17.
The senior coroner for Norfolk, Jacqueline Lake, said: 'Police were called to Browning Place where they found the body of Krzysztof Gerot on the floor in the kitchen.
'The medical cause of death is haemorrhage due to stab wounds penetrating his heart and chest.'
The inquest will resume on April 24 at King's Lynn County Court.
