A 70-year-old man's body was found by police at the Mere in Diss after he had been reported missing, an inquest heard.
Derek Alden, from Skelton Road in the town, was reported missing on April 23 after a note was found at his home, yesterday'sNorwich inquest was told. His body was found at about 1pm the following day, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death has not yet been determined and the inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
