A 63-year-old man suffered chest, arm and hip injuries after falling two metres through a false ceiling at a factory unit in Dereham.
The Anglia One East Anglian Air Ambulance flew the man to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital after the accident on the Rash's Green Industrial Estate.
The air ambulance landed at 9.16am today and critical care paramedics Andy Downes and Gary Steward gave the patient pain relief and immobilised his spine and took off about an hour later.
The man's condition was described as stable when he arrived at hospital.
