Man due in court following crossbow incident in Oulton Broad

A 53-year-old man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon – a crossbow – in a public place and threatening behaviour following an incident at Nicholas Everitt Park in Oulton Broad on Thursday, August 8.

Paul Webb, of The Boulevard, Oulton Broad, was arrested on the evening of August 8 after police were called to reports of a man threatening members of the public.

He was interviewed and subsequently charged and is now due to appear at Lowestoft Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday) from 10am.
