A 24-year-old Lowestoft man is due to appear at court this morning charged with possession of a firearm and theft of motor vehicle.
Ryan Latham, of Bevan Street West in the town, was arrested yesterday (Sunday, January 17) in connection with the theft of a black Yamaha 125cc motorcycle from Goose Green West in Beccles in November.
He was also interviewed in connection with a possession of firearm offence.
He has now been charged with stealing the motorcycle and with possession of an air weapon – a gas powered BB replica AK467 – while prohibited.
He has been detained in custody overnight pending an appearance before Norwich Magistrates from 10am this morning (Monday, January 18).
