A man died at Norwich's Castle Mall this afternoon. He is believed to have had a heart attack.
Police and paramedics were called to the shopping centre shortly before 2pm.
The East of England Ambulance Service and East Anglian Air Ambulance attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area around Boots was cordoned off and a security guard was stopping shoppers from entering at the Rose Lane entrance.
Paramedics were called at 1.37pm to reports a man had collapsed. He is thought to be in his late 60s.
The cordon was lifted at around 3pm.
