Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on the outskirts of King’s Lynn in the early hours of this morning.

They say it happened on the A149 Queen Elizabeth Way at 2.40am, when a blue Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision with a male pedestrian who was in the highway, close to the junction with the B1145 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital roundabout.

A second vehicle, believed to be a red car and possibly a Ford Fiesta, also collided with the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle stopped at the scene however but before details were taken and officers are appealing for the driver to come forward.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact PC Chris Curtis or Sgt Chris Bradley at Swaffham Roads Policing on 101.
