A 40-year-old Suffolk man has been charged with dangerous driving offences after police chased an allegedly stolen dumper truck across Norfolk.
Nicholas Churchill, from Mounts Pit Lane, Brandon, will appear in court facing charges of dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking without consent, criminal damage, driving while unfit through drugs, and possession of Class B (amphetamines).
The incident allegedly took place on July 20 and resulted in police cars and the force helicopter pursuing a 30-tonne dumper truck.
The pursuit started on the A11 at the Thickthorn roundabout and ended in Brandon.
Mr Churchill will appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on January 8.
